Sea Defence Shelves

Sea Defence is a beautiful and functional collection of furniture bringing together the sculptural, strong and iconic nature of sea defences, creating elegant, usable functional pieces of furniture.

The collection is made up from the simple shape inspired by Sea Defences, that line the coasts of Britain.

These free standing shelves are hand crafted in Scotland from carefully selected materials, layered birch is pressed to this sculptural shape and finished by hand.

Sea Defence Shelves and Coffee Table won the D&AD 1st prize award for Product Design – Furniture Design 2009. Since then it is an ever expanding collection of iconic and sculptural furniture and lighting.

Handmade to order – usually dispatched within 6 weeks.

Returns can be made up to 7 days after delivery – 30% of value is retained for restocking of handmade item, delivery is non refundable once shipped. Item is returned insured at your expence. 7 days cancelation policy after order is placed, after 7 days 70% can be refunded as materials have been ordered and product is being made.
