Hannah Zakari furniture design

Hannah Zakari was an independent online boutique specialising in items which are designed or handmade by indie designers with an emphasis on cute, quirky and unusual designs.
In July 2010, Hannah Zakari opened a physical shop in Edinburgh on Candlemaker Row between Grassmarket and popular dog statue Greyfriars Bobby.
I was asked to work with Rachael to design a range of bespoke furniture to complement the items for sale and work within the size and shape of the traditional Edinburgh building.
I designed a range of jewellery display cases, interlocking shelves to display the large array of over 100 designers, as well as display table and units. Within the designs I created storage for products in the form of drawers that could also be pulled out to display more products. We worked together to create the simple style that is complemented by a large array of antique handles and doorknobs.
